Sharpen That Yale, Baby, Well Good

surgical tool? I bloody hope not.I despair at seeing things like this…

[Gavin Evans]…who was not considered for Wales’ tour of Australia on fitness grounds. Davies explained, “Gareth (Jenkins) and I spoke about it. I think we’ve taken a sensible approach with Gavin. “He’s OK at the moment, but his shoulder needs looking into. He’s had a scan. We are waiting for the results on that and we’ll see where we go then.” Phil Davies (Starlets’ Top Dog)

Not out of any altruistic, philanthropy you understand, but from the sneaking suspicion that it will postpone my already long-awaited shoulder op yet further.

I am due to go under the knife in June. At least I hope it will be a knife. I may be little confused but, after a chat with the surgeon (the renowned and massively respected Mr Graham) I am vaguely concerned that he is going to try to rectify the battered joint using only a key. This can’t be right, can it? Unless they sharpen it up a hell of a lot in Tony’s locksmith.

Oh well, they know best, I suppose.
