Going Down with John Thomas?!

Princess Michael of Kent - would be good at the after match function speeches Who is it to be?

There was some lively egg-chaser discussion down The Albany tonight. And not just from me with an audience of glazed eyed, still-faced, half-pissed cronies, either.

I had just popped in to drop off some Cathays & Roath Directories* to Geoff The Landlord (honestly, darling) and got embroiled in a a rugby chat with 'John'. Now, I know hardly anything about John except that our drinking careers started roughly about the same time and, in a pub as compact as The A, you get to ‘know to nod’ to the usual suspects. Well, John is almost as sparky about the rugby as I am. Which came as a surprise, though why, I don’t really know. Nice bloke, though. He can get the scary eyes late in the Friday evening but has always been very pleasant to me. Anyway, I was only in there for a cheeky one (business, dearest, really, y'know) and by the end of the pint we had set the Rugby World of Wales to rights: he is more of a Mike Phillips Man, while I still err towards Peel. I feel Phillips has all the physical attributes of a world class 9 but still lacks the vision and control, yet. John reckoned that Peel gets bullied off the ball and isn’t the player he once was.

Both arguments carry water. Both counsels carry beer.

It was broached (by me) that Charvis would be the ideal Captain for the Summer Tour Down Under. Jonh reckoned it would/should (we was in the public bar which is noisier than my ailing ear can deal with these days) be Jonathon Thomas…Shorn Born as the eponymous John Thomas

Any news or gossip or scandal or just slander on this?
In order - my faves for the job:
